Pre-K Class

The curriculum for our Pre-K program is a literacy rich program that incorporates Learning without Tears, “Get Set for School” program daily.  This is a hands-on curriculum program that encourages purposeful play, active engagement, and use of manipulatives.   Children will further develop their fine motor and emotional/social skills.  The all-inclusive curriculum encompasses the disciplines of Language Arts (letter identification and writing, phonemic awareness), Math (number recognition and counting, shapes, etc.), Science, Social Studies, Poetry, and Drama.  By the end of the school year, the goal is for the children to become independent thinkers and confident in their ability to navigate a new school setting for their Kindergarten year.

Building blocks of learning

3 year old Class

Curriculum for our 3-year-old children focuses on developing readiness skills.  Teachers will use components of the Learn Every Day program and Learning Without Tears, “Get Set for School” program.  The children will develop their fine motor skills and work on concepts such as shape, size, colors, number concepts (one to one correspondence), and beginning letter skills.  The curriculum will allow for more in-depth study in topics of Science and Social Studies.  Through the course of the school year, they will explore developmentally appropriate methods of managing emotions and establishing friendships.
